This year will mark the dawn of a new age for The Mushroom Group, teasing “a new Mushroom is sprouting” on their website, and announcing today that they will be ageing in style – to celebrate their birthday week this year, the cats from Mushroom have announced their Free For All, a totally free gig taking place this week in Melbourne, featuring a lineup of some of Mushroom’s best offerings.
Going down on Wednesday, 6th February at Thousand £ Bend, Mushroom have gone all-out booking some of the country’s most vibing artists right now, who all just happen to feature on the current ‘Shroom roster. Adalita will be performing on the night, as well as Bleeding Knees Club, their good buddies DZ Deathrays and the delightful Owl Eyes. Rising stars SURES will also be stepping up to the plate, along with World’s End Press .
It’s the gig everyone is gonna wanna be at, but here’s the catch – tickets are only available via a ticketing ballot system set up through Mushroom’s new Facebook page. Tickets are limited, and as the gig is so close the ballot won’t be open for too long, so for your chance to get in, head straight there!
All the other cities won’t be left out of the celebrations, either – the Free For All party bus is sure to be rockin’ up to a venue near you very soon, so keep an eye on Music Feeds for the latest news.
