Sydney punk outfit Frenzal Rhomb will play a total of four Victorian shows in January as part of their glibly named Steroidosonic Tour. The band have announced three new shows this week, which will preface their appearance at the Australia Day Weekend Benefit show, and their tour of the Benelux countries.
On the tour’s official Facebook page, it’s noted that Frenzal Rhomb’s Victorian dates will begin in Warrnambool, “the Luxembourg of Australia”, before stopping in Ballarat and Geelong, “the Amsterdam of the South Pacific”.
Frenzal Rhomb’s Steroidosonic Tour will begin in Warrnambool on Thursday, 22nd January 2015. On the 25th January, the band will play a Reverence Hotel Australia Day Weekend show in Melbourne, with all proceeds going to The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC), The Refugee Council of Australia and Oxfam Australia.
Frenzal Rhomb released their last album, Smoko at the Pet Food Factory, in 2011. View tour and ticket details for the band’s Victorian shows, below.
