Frenzal Rhomb Celebrate 25 Years Together By Taking Your Requests On A National Tour

Sydney’s favourite band of punks Frenzal Rhomb are turning 25 this year (yes, you are that old) and to celebrate two and half decades of – in their words – “annoying people with music in almost every continent in the world” they’ve decided not only to head back out on tour, but they’ll also be taking your requests.

They do have somewhat of an ulterior motive in being so accommodating though (what you think they just wanted to make you happy?) as they’ll also be releasing a fancy-pants double vinyl Best Of album for their fans to reminisce. The album will be nostalgically titled We Lived Like Kings; We Did Anything We Wanted.

Boasting “all the hits” the collection spans the band’s entire catalogue of eight studio albums, including “even a song from THAT album. You know the one” (If you do know the one please tell us). They’ve also got some new t-shirts, you know for any of their fans not born in the ’80s and therefore still rocking a record player.

You can pre-order We Lived Like Kings; We Did Anything We Wanted here with the CD and digital album out August 19th and the LP out September 30th.

UPDATE 8/8/2016: Here’s how you can choose the songs that Frenzal Rhomb will play on their upcoming tour.

The tour itself kicks off in Melbourne on Friday 2nd September. See full tour details below.
