Fuji Rock 2013 Announce More Acts – The Cure, Skrillex, Jurassic 5 & More

With Glastonbury having released their line-up for 2013, here’s another exotic music festival to envy – Fuji Rock have added some impressive names to their already star-studded line-up, with The Cure, Skrillex and Jurassic 5 joining the bill.

Other quality acts added to Fuji Rock 2013 earlier in the month include Grammy winners Mumford & Sons, hip hop hero Kendrick Lamar, and longstanding folk performer Suzanne Vega. These acts and more will be playing alongside the returning Nine Inch Nails, Bjork, The xx, Fun., Tame Impala and Death Grips.

As the line-up for Fuji Rock comes together, the rumours for Splendour In The Grass 2013 line-up heat up accordingly. The Cure were predicted to play Splendour In The Grass back in 2011 and then again in 2012. With the band confirmed to play Fuji on Sunday, 28th July it is entirely likely they could be playing Splendour on Saturday, 27th July (though they are playing a Korean festival on 26th July – fingers crossed). We can now also keep an eye out for The xx and possibly even everyone’s favourite dubstepper Skrillex(!) to make an appearance.
