New York punk/funk/rock pioneers The Rapture will be playing on the upcoming Future Music Festival 2012 line-up.

This announcement comes after frontman Luke Jenner slipped a hint at a possible Rapture Australian Tour For March 2012 while talking to triple j mag last month.
“It hasn’t been announced yet, but I think in March hopefully we’ll be back for Future. I don’t think I’m technically supposed to tell you that, so let’s just keep that between you, me and the rest of Australia.”
Now Future Entertainment have officially confirmed them as the first band on the line-up.
It will be just over a year since they last graced Australian shores with their awesome live shows, and they have become firm festival favourites, winning over the crowds at Parklife, Southbound and Falls Festival.
The Rapture recently released their new album In The Grace of Your Love out now in Australia through Modular Recordings.
