In news that makes perfect sense, G Flip has been announced as the pre-game entertainment for the 2021 AFLW Grand Final.
Taking place at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, 17th April, G Flip’s performance will precede the showdown between the Adelaide Crows and the Brisbane Lions.
“It’s such a privilege and an honour to be playing at the 2021 NAB AFLW Grand Final,” G Flip said in a press statement.
“I’ve been a footy fan since my Dad put a Magpies scarf around my neck as a baby and I haven’t missed a Pies game this season.”
Needless to say she’s probably a little salty that the Pies just missed out on the GF, but she still seems keen either way.
“I don’t just like footy, I love footy,” she continued.
“This will be one of the highlights of my life, I’m very excited.”
This is the latest milestone in G Flip’s 2021, who played the 2021 Mardi Gras parade earlier this year. In addition, she’s booked for a string of festivals as they begin popping back up around the country, like Fresh Produce, April Sun and Land of Plenty.
