Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival has announced its stacked 2018 lineup, and it’s packing a bunch of well-known Aussies.
Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys and Jack White are headlining the festival, but below that it features a very strong contingent of Australians.
The likes of Gang Of Youths, Tash Sultana, Amy Shark, Vera Blue, What So Not, Alex Lahey and Chase Atlantic are all on there representing for down under.
Both Gang Of Youths and Amy Shark have made a splash in the US lately, performing on late night television shows.
Hopefully Gang Of Youths’ luck has improved by Lollapalooza though; they’ve had their tour van broken into and a guitar smashed by a US airline since being there.
There’s plenty more to get excited about on the Lollapalooza lineup too with Vampire Weekend, ODESZA, Post Malone and Khalid all locked in as well.
If we can get even a handful of these acts for Splendour In The Grass (just two weeks earlier), then we’ll be happy.
