Gavin James Announces Australian Tour

For the first time ever, Irish troubadour Gavin James will be making his way to Australian shores for a run of headline tour dates. James is currently hitting the world tour circuit and hitting it hard in support of his debut album Bitter Pill.

Since 2013, James has been building his name as a singer/songwriter, at the time independently releasing his debut single Say Hello. The track would go on to win a Meteor Choice Award for Song of The Year. Not bad for his first attempt.

From there he cut his teeth performing in pubs throughout Dublin until one day, old mate Ed Sheeran walked into one of the pubs and the two struck it off with Sheeran singing his new pal’s praises.

Bitter Pill hit shelves last year and went on to prick up all sorts of important ears including Sam Smith’s, who brought James along for a US tour, and Taylor Swift, with James opening for the pop star’s Hyde Park show.

Now the rising star is heading to our sandy shores, playing Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth this September. Catch tour dates and ticketing details here below.
