British pop singer-songwriter George Ezra has announced an Australian tour for October–November 2022. The tour includes headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
The 29 year old Ezra will be in town promoting his new album, Gold Rush Kid, which is due out on Friday, 10th June. Gold Rush Kid is Ezra’s third full-length release and follows 2018’s ARIA top ten, Staying At Tamara’s. Ezra’s debut album, Wanted On Voyage, came out in 2014.
The latter included Ezra’s breakout single, ‘Budapest’, an international hit that sent the English songwriter to Australia for the 2014 Falls Festival. Ezra’s biggest hit to date, ‘Shotgun’, from Stay At Tamara’s, topped the UK and Australian charts and is accredited 12-times ARIA Platinum.
Ezra returned to Australia for a headline tour on the eve of Tamara’s’ release in March 2018, and again in summer 2019. Ezra worked on the new album with his frequent collaborator, Joel Pott, and The Killers and Madonna producer, Stuart Price. Find upcoming tour dates below and listen to the Gold Rush Kid single, ‘Green Green Grass’.
