OK, we don’t know about you, but we dedicate a considerable amount of time to daydreaming about perfect collaborations in the Music Feeds office. And we think we might have dreamed of one so often that we’ve actually made it come true.
Flume. And Disclosure. Yep. Disclosure with Flume. There is a rumour going around that the super-producers could be working together, after Disclosure posted an epic pic of Flume on their Instagram and Twitter accounts, his face all covered in signature Disclosure sketched lines.
The posts were quickly deleted, but plenty of people took screenshots (what would we do without all those beautiful screenshot shortcuts?) and a flurry of “oh my god, could that mean they are collaborating?!” has been whipping around the internet ever since.
Observe:
The Aussie producer and British duo kind of collaborated in the past with the former remixing Disclosure’s You & Me, but there’s been nothing as epic as a brand new collab yet. Let’s hope that’s about to change and we don’t have to wait too long to find out what the guys have up their sleeves.
While you’re waiting, you might want to check out some newly-discovered footage of Disclosure’s recent roof-raising Sydney Opera House performance. Professionally-shot footage of the boys performing Jaded from new record Caracal has just turned up on the official Disclosure VEVO channel and and we can’t stop watching it.
UPDATE 03/03/16: We’re edging ever closer to solving this, with Flume now taking to Instagram to share the same picture, captioned with “coming soon!”. His post has not been deleted though, bolstering our hopes that whatever project he’s alluding too, it’s not too far off now.
UPDATE 04/03/16: It’s here! Disclosure have remixed Flume’schart-topping hit Never Be Like You feat. Kai, into a club-ready, deep house banger. Have a listen, here.
