girl in red isn’t letting the shock cancellation of Splendour In The Grass stop her from visiting fans down under in 2024. Hot on the heels of releasing her sophomore album I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY! earlier this month, the Norwegian alt-pop superstar has just announced a four-date Australian headline tour to fill the Splendour-shaped hole in her July itinerary.
Marie Ulven, the woman behind the girl in red project, will be kicking off her tour in Perth, before visiting fans in Sydney, Melbourne and wrapping things up in Brisbane.

girl in red’s new 10-song LP chronicles Ulven’s past few years of feeling confusingly frustrated, despite racking up commercial and critical acclaim, major festival appearances and millions upon millions of streams.
“The past five years have been so insane, and that I’ve been given this opportunity is insane,” Ulven explains in a press statement. “But I think what’s really hitting me now is that I need to pursue music fully, and that’s something I want to do with this record. I just want to go all in on girl in red in 2024. I’m at a point where I’m willing to fly.”
