Acclaimed Australian musicians Gotye, Tex Perkins and Nicky Bomba are joining forces for one night only, banding together to support NGO The Thin Green Line Foundation at their fundraising musical event in honour of World Ranger Day.
The concert, which will take place at Melbourne’s Town Hall on August 1st, celebrates the work park rangers do around the world in developing nations, conflict zones and marginalised communities to protect wildlife and significant areas.
Also performing will be Melbourne folk trio Tinpan Orange, Hawaiian musician Makana, Melbourne musician Damien Howard and more to be announced. Tickets to the fundraising event are available now.
According to the Thin Green Line Foundation, over 1,000 park rangers have lost their lives across the globe in the last 10 years protecting wildlife and habitats from poaching and other threats. This event aims to raise funds to provide rangers with the support they need to continue to protect threatened species around the world.
Head to their website for more information on the work they do.
