Two of our nations brightest and both new additions to the Modular stable, Perth chanteuse Grace Woodroofe and Sydney lads WIM are set to go arm in arm around the country in April with support from Emma Davis.
The deadly double team of Grace Woodroofe & WIM both have a couple of smashing new releases up their collective sleeves that will be released on Modular shortly and the tour will see both albums getting a significant airing on the road.
Grace Woodroofe’s hauntingly beautiful debut album ‘Always Want’ is coming soon and her single ‘I’ve Handled Myself Wrong’ is currently doing the rounds. Woodroofe possesses of a voice that’s capable of caressing your eardrums then punching you in the face in the blink of an eye, and her live show is one to experience.
WIM on the other hand are a ragtag bunch of pirate songsmiths deft at creating dense sonic dreams that will be released on their album also on the way. Their single ‘Colossus’ is a spiraling work in delicate wonder and going for nix on the net now.
Emma Davis is the London born / Sydney residing songwriter who has just unleashed her debut self-titled album – a collection of beautifully crafted and honestly told stories. Her new single ‘Machines’ is currently haunting the airwaves.
