Groovin The Moo 2013 is hardly converted to long term memory but already organisers are gearing up to do it all again next year, only bigger. Today sees the dates and venues for the festival’s 2014 return which will be kicked off by the first ever South Australian show in Oakbank.
Much like years past, GTM will be making their way between regional centres through out April and May. The first show will take place Friday, 25th April at Oakbank Racecourse, the first time the event has made its way to South Australia. According to organisers, it took a lot of prior planning but the inaugural South Oz leg is now good to go:
“It’s taken a few years, but we are all very excited to welcome South Australia into the GTM Family. Oakbank Racecourse is a beautiful venue and the 2014 line-up is shaping up nicely already so we can’t wait to launch the GTM Tour in SA”, said Stephen Halpin from Cattleyard Promotion.
From there, the show will continue through to Maitland on Saturday, 26th April, then the nations capital for Sunday, 27th April, then off to Bendigo on Saturday, 3rd May with Townsville and Bunbury being the final stops.
Repeat offenders of The Moo have been invited to join in on the conversation on Instagram by sharing their favourite memory from Moos past with the hashtag #motmoo. All posts will go in the running to win a double pass for the 2014 event, with 10 up for grabs.
The lineup is expected to be announced Wednesday 29th January, with tickets on sale Tuesday 4th February.
UPDATE: Groovin The Moo are posting short promo videos about why they love their chosen regional cities, though we still haven’t seen the video exploring their newfound passion for Oakbank. Check them out below.
