In just a matter of hours time, Groovin The Moo 2013 will be officially underway and the madness won’t stop until Canberra, Townsville, Maitland, Bendigo and Bunbury have all had their fair share. Things will be kicking off in Maitland tomorrow with a sold out show and here at Music Feeds we understand you have about 8 billion things to sort out, so we’ve tackled the maps, set times and transport information for you.
The festivities will include 12 hours of live music with things kicking off at 11am sharp. Local crews The Owls, Fishing, Galleri and triple J unearthed winner Goldsmith will be warming things up for this particular leg of the event. The action will be pumping non-stop until the headliners with The Kooks finishing off the V stage at 8:00pm, The Temper Trap doing the same on the triple j stage at 9:05pm and Example closing the Moulin Rouge stage at 9:30pm, so bit of a clash of the titans there.
Getting there doesn’t look it’s going to be too much of a hassle. Organisers recommend a train to Newcastle where you can alight for GTM-bound buses. As per the website, GTM buses depart from Newcastle from Enterprise Park (directly across the from the train station) and Broadmeadow train station (Brown Road side) from 8:00am. If those particular plans don’t suit you, head over to the side for a range of other options on how to get there.
