GWAR’s upcoming Australian tour has been cancelled.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Interplanetary destroyers of human scum, GWAR, have announced their blood-soaked return to Australia in 2018, as part of their current tour behind new album The Blood Of Gods.
Returning down under in April, Blothar the Berskerer and company will perform across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, in what will be their first Aussie shows since they decapitated Tony Abbott at Soundwave Festival in 2014.
In a statement, Blothar says:
“People of Australia, koala bears, kangaroos, crocodiles, wallabies… lend me your ears… and your skulls, and all of your internal organs… GWAR is coming to turn the Land of Dreams into your worst nightmare. Fire up the barby, we are going to eat Australia!”
Today’s announcement comes after GWAR teased something called the ‘Battle For Adelaide’ last week.
