Perth band Gyroscope have announced they will be getting back on the road this December, playing five shows across the country to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album Sound Shattering Sound.
Starting at Brisbane’s Brightside on Thursday, 11th December, the Gyroscope boys will then head to venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. This is Gyroscope’s first national tour since 2011 and also the first since guitarist Zoran “Zok” Trivic was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in 2012, which left him wheelchair-bound while he rehabilitated for many months.
The reformed Perth band will be performing Sound Shattering Sound in its entirety at each date, as well as favourites from their later albums. Released though fellow Perth band Jebediah‘s Redline Records label in 2004, Sound Shattering Sound spawned such hits as Doctor Doctor and Safe Forever, tracks which still enjoy airplay today.
The tour will be an entirely Perth affair on stage with support from fellow Perthlings The Love Junkies and Graphic Characters. See all the tour details below.
