What a crazy day for Haim fans – first the three LA sisters stream their debut album Days Are Gone before it’s even released and now they’ve unveiled their fully-clothed cover of Miley Cyrus’ track Wrecking Ball, albeit in a more tasteful video than Miley’s suggestive original.
Este Haim takes over the lead vocal duties from Danielle Haim for this cover, her Stevie Nicks-isms reminding everyone just why Haim are so often compared to Fleetwood Mac.
One of the most hyped bands of the past year, Haim have toured Australia already this year as part of the Splendour In The Grass festival, and they also performed a number of sideshows. The sisters will be returning in 2014 to play at Laneway Festival, with their new album in tow.
Check out Haim’s performance below, as well as Miley Cyrus’ original Wrecking Ball video. Days Are Gone is released tomorrow, Friday, 27th September.
