Hand Of Mercy To Break Up After Reuniting With Former Frontman

Sydney hardcore outfit Hand Of Mercy have announced they will end their time as a band in the coming months, after they reunite with their former frontman Scott Bird and tour in support of fellow Sydney act Buried In Verona.

In a statement posted to Facebook today, Hand Of Mercy say the band won’t tour again after they complete their support slots, and have thanked fans for their support. The band’s statement reads:

“We’ve been Hand Of Mercy 2005-2015. This will be our final tour, we will be playing songs off all our releases. Scott Bird is back for these shows.

“Thank you [Bird’s replacement] Nick Bellringer for the past year. It’s been real, thank you all for the support over the years. See you in the pit.”

Hand Of Mercy parted ways with Scott Bird in 2014, but the singer will return to perform with the band during Buried In Verona’s Vultures Above, Lions Below National Tour, which runs from 17th September until 4th October.

Hand Of Mercy toured nationally at the end of 2014 with former Take Us To Vegas member Nick Bellringer taking up vocal duties.
