Harbour Party organisers have announced the additional acts to appear on this year’s lineup, to help to bring in 2013 in spectacular fashion at Sydney’s Luna Park. Already with a wide list of talent that includes the best of local and international artists that span several genres, there is no excuse for anyone not to dance this New Year’s Eve at Harbour Party.
Joining the already announced acts at Luna Park this year is Duncan MacLennan, better known by his stage name DCUP, and known around the world for his work with Yolanda B Cool and the international smash hit We No Speak Americano. Also included are Sydney electro-dance act Radio INK (pictured above), who have been tipped as the predecessors to The Presets and Sneaky Sound System – quite big shoes to fill, but they are easily comfortable with being given the challenge.
Another Sydney act Tom Piper is also joining in the fun. Recently winning the Best Independent Dance/Electronica Release at the AIR Awards with his label partner and also gaining platinum sales with his own mix CDs, Tom Piper is ready to bring the house down at Luna Park.
Other acts joining in are: Alley Oop storming the stage on New Year’s Eve to showcase her knowledge of House, Disco and Tech, and her love for playful classic jams; The 80’s electronic spirit of Garcon Garcon (DJs); Brother G, a favourite on the Harbour Party scene, who has played with everyone from George Clinton to Spiritualized; Tass, who will be on hand to hit up the decks after his major international appearances; and last of all, Isabella Melody, who will bring her fusion of retro, 90s, upbeat jazz, pop music and hits galore.
