Harry Styles has finally confirmed what we already knew, revealing that his pop mega smash ‘Watermelon Sugar’ was not actually inspired by his love of summer time’s most delicious fruit snack.
As suspected, it’s rather a metaphor for smashing melons in a different way.
During the Nashville stop of his Love On Tour tour, the boyband graduate spilled the pulp, explaining that the song was written about the female orgasm.
“It’s about, uh … the sweetness of life,” he told the crowd with a wink.
“It’s also about the female orgasm, but that’s totally different. That’s not really relevant.”
