Harry Styles is donating proceeds from his forthcoming Love On Tour US leg towards the Everytown For Gun Safety Support Fund.
The singer has pledged over $1 million to the organisation in conjunction with Live Nation, in light of the recent tragedy at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas, as well as the recent spate of shootings in general across the US.
Putting his support behind the work of Everytown, Styles is aiding their work in supporting the education, litigation and research arm of the ‘largest gun violence prevention organisation’ in North America.
“Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at the latest in Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.” Styles posted on Instagram.
“On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown who work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing their suggested action items.”
Styles’ North American tour, supporting his new album Harry’s House, takes place in the second half of 2022, just before he brings the expansive live show to Australia this summer.
