After weeks of teasing, Harry Styles has finally released the official video clip for his latest single ‘Watermelon Sugar’.
The tune is the second big single from his 2019 album Fine Line, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart when it dropped last December.
‘Watermelon Sugar’ has clocked over 346 million streams globally, and super fans have been clamouring for the video since Styles changed up the colour scheme of his official website last week.
It’s a dreamy, summery effort from the former One Direction member, opening with Styles dining on a beach in oversized sunnies, the same glasses he wore on his 2019 Rolling Stone cover shoot.
The rest of the clip is a shot after shot of Styles on a beach, surrounded by people, eating watermelons ane touching each other.
The clip also contains a few hidden goodies and easter eggs that fans have begun to point out.
Some big One Direction fans who have followed Styles throughout his career have tweeted about the fact that the beach where the clip takes place looks suspiciously familiar. Side by side, it’s a dead ringer for the beach where One D shot ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, which came out almost ten years ago.
