ZHU has tapped Australia’s own Daniel Johns for his latest super-collab, which also features Brisbane’s Vancouver Sleep Clinic.
The chill-as new track, dubbed Modern Conversation, sees the former Silverchair frontman bust out a smooth electric guitar solo, while Vancouver Sleep Clinic architect Tim Bettinson handles vocal duties.
Modern Conversation is the latest track in ZHU’s ongoing Genesis Series, which has yielded a new collaborative track each week for the past month.
As well as teaming up with the two Aussie artists, the shadowy LA producer has also dropped tunes with AlunaGeorge, A-Trak, Gallant, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Trombone Shorty.
One final single is expected to be unveiled next week – a collab with Skrillex and ZHU’s fellow Mind Of A Genius labelmate, THEY – to cap off the Genesis Series with six complete tracks.
