Jack White closed out Coachella festivities on Saturday night with a scorching two-hour long, career-spanning, genre-bending set. His Coachella debut as a solo artist saw the acclaimed singer-songwriter bust out material from his days with The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and, naturally, his solo discography. But, true to form, Jacky boy saved the best for last.
The climax of a monster five-song encore saw the White Stripe whip out an achingly short rendition of the Rage Against The Machine stormer Testify by way of an intro, before launching into the chart-incinerating Stripes’ hit, Seven Nation Army.
White also gave an emphatic shout out to Run the Jewels and Zack de la Rocha prior to his finale performance.
Check out his full Coachella set below (launching into Rage at the 1.27.30 minute mark).
