The ninth annual Heart Of St Kilda concert will take place in Melbourne this year, and organisers have revealed a massive lineup of musicians and comedians for the 2016 edition of the event.
All featured acts are performing out of the goodness of their hearts, in an effort to raise funds for the Sacred Heart Missions’ ‘Mission’s Meals Program’ and last year over $79,000 was raised, feeding nearly 20,000 people.
The 2016 concert lineup features former Killing Heidi frontwoman and Australian Record Store Day ambassador Ella Hooper, unearthed singer-songwriter Olympia, Aussie rock legend Ross Wilson and Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey.
The comedy side of this will feature homegrown duo The Umbilical Brothers, British comic Jeff Green, Irish stand-up Jimeoin and household name Judith Lucy, as well as heaps more.
The Heart Of St Kilda Concert will once again take place at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda, this year on Tuesday, 6th September. Tickets are on sale now.
