The biggest night in UK music has wrapped up for another year, and the 2020 BRIT Awards saw some of the world’s biggest musicians walk away with trophies.
Singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi was the biggest winner of the evening taking home two BRIT awards – one for ‘Best New Artist’ and one for ‘Song Of The Year’ for his smash hit ‘Someone You Loved’.
The biggest award of the night, however, went to rapper Dave who took home ‘British Album of the Year’ for his debut Psychodrama, beating out Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Michael Kiwanuka and Stormzy.
It wasn’t only Brits who walked home with trophies, though. Billie Eilish continues her winning streak by taking home the ‘International Female Solo Artist’ award and Tyler The Creator, fresh off being announced as a headliner for this year’s Splendour In The Grass festival, won ‘International Male Solo Artist’.
There were also plenty of performances as well. Lizzo performed a medley of some of her biggest hits like ‘Truth Hurts’ and ‘Good As Hell’, Harry Styles performed Fine Line cut ‘Falling’ and Billie Eilish gave the live debut of her James Bong theme song ‘No Time To Die’.
