Glastonbury‘s virtual Live at Worthy Farm livestream extravaganza is set to take place later this month, broadcasting Sunday, 23rd May from 7pm for Aussie viewers.
Alongside previously revealed performances from the likes of Coldplay, Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, HAIM, IDLES and more, organisers have also announced a unique spoken word narrative, provided by PJ Harvey, Pulp‘s Jarvis Cocker, Kae Tempset and more.
Organisers have also announced additional guest performances from both George Ezra and Róisín Murphy – with more surprise guests to come. The livestream will be shot at the festival’s iconic site, at landmarks like the Pyramid Field and Stone Circle.
“We’re going to be taking you on a five-hour journey through an evening at Worthy Farm. It’s going to be like the festival, but without the people,” said festival organiser Emily Eavis when originally announcing the event last month, after Glasto were forced to cancel their physical event for the second year in a row due to the pandemic.
