QSC Audio Products are offering one artist the chance to win over $4000.00 worth of gear, as well as an exclusive song writing Master Class with ARIA Award winning solo artist and You Am I front man Tim Rogers alongside a TouchMix8 tutorial from a qualified QSC engineer.
What do you have to do to enter you ask? Just submit a kick-ass song is all. And if that kick ass song kicks the asses of all the other kick ass songs submitted you get to take home all the audio swag. KICK. ASS.
Speaking specifically about the gear that is up to be won, not only are they putting up a QSC TouchMix8 compact digital mixer, they’re also throwing in a AE5400 live condenser microphone, thanks to Audio-Technica Australia.
You can submit your masterpiece via Youtube, Vimeo or Soundcloud, with the comp looking for submissions between 2 – 5 minutes long. And if you don’t have any fancy recording equipment at home yourself, don’t worry ‘cos the comp will take songs recorded at home, in the studio or even live at a show (although playing acoustic guitar into your voice memos might be a ‘lil too basic).
With entries open from December 10, 2015 through till January 15, 2016, the three finalists will be announced on January 25th, with the overall winner being crowned a week later by a panel of highly esteemed judges, including members of APRA and Mr Rogers himself.
