UPDATE: Hear Australia’s 2018 Eurovision Song ‘We Got Love’ In Full
ORIGINAL STORY: Singer-songwriter Jessica Mauboy has given us a short clip of her song for this year’s Eurovision songwriting contest.
Mauboy will compete with ‘We Got Love’ to (hopefully) take out the top spot for Australia, after we were first granted entry to Eurovision in 2015.
She’s shared a number of clips over the past few days, but she’s finally delivered a lengthier one which gives us a good indication of where the song is headed. Basically, it sounds like it could be a banger.
The contest is due to go down at the start of May in Portugal. A number of countries, including Portugal, have already revealed their entries for this year, which suggests the full Mauboy song won’t be far off.
While this is Mauboy’s first time competing in Eurovision, it’s not her first time performing there. She was invited to perform in 2014 as a one-off, where she performed an original song ‘Sea Of Flags’.
There is still no release date for ‘We Got Love’, but you can check out snippets of the song below.
