Sydney-siders have just been served a brand new music festival, outside the lock-out zones and on the same day as Stereosonic 2015.
The inaugural Soundscape festival, which is not to be confused with the now-defunct Tasmanian event of the same name, has dropped an impressive bill of local acts, topped by Basenji, Touch Sensitive, UV Boi, Young Franco and loads more.
The boutique one-day event is scheduled to take place on Saturday November 28th, the same day as the Sydney instalment of Stereo, making it a legitimate (and cheaper) alternative to the behemoth dance fest, or at least the perfect place for an afterparty.
That’s because the promoters have also positioned Soundscape outside the good-time garrotte of Sydney’s lockout laws, underneath the picturesque skyscrapers of North Sydney’s Greenwood Hotel, to ensure the party keeps going past the 1.30am CBD restrictions.
Tickets to Soundscape 2015 go on sale from this Wednesday, 19th August. Check out full lineup ad ticketing details below.
