Here’s When Blink-182’s “Incredible” New Track ‘Quarantine’ Is Arriving

Last month, blink-182 drummer Travis Barker discussed that new music that was on the way from the pop-punk legends, telling MTV that a new song titled ‘Quarantine’ would be arriving soon.

The track will appear on Blink-182’s forthcoming EP, which they had hoped to have released by the end of our winter here in Australia (that is, this month.

“It’ll be a Blink favourite,” Barker commented at the time. “It’ll be like all our fan favourites. It’s incredible.”

That was after the Blink drummer had spoken to Spin back in May, promising the track would be arriving within a matter of weeks – a plan the band obviously didn’t stick to, given it’s now over two months later.

Now, the band have revealed that ‘Quarantine’ will at long last be released this Friday, 7th August. The trio took to Instagram earlier today to share the news along with the single’s cover art.

So what exactly can we expect? Well, producer John Feldmann recently commented that the band is “getting in touch with their roots” while writing new music.

Speaking to Rock Sound, Feldmann revealed, “The songs we have been working on have been super classic blink and I can’t be more excited.”

Blink released Nine, their most recent album, last year.
