Hiatus Kaiyote Announce 2019 National Tour

After a tough 2018, groundbreaking Australian act Hiatus Kaiyote are gearing up to release their new album, and are giving fans a sneaky tour as a thanks for their support.

In case you weren’t aware, Nai Palm, lead vocalist for the band, revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer late last year.

“I say this to you hoping that you won’t expect soo much of me all the time,” Palm said on Instagram revealing her diagnosis. “I am a strong mother fucker but I feel everything deeply.”

“I am riddled with anxiety while trying to practice courage and patience daily in the face of the scariest and most emotionally triggering shit I’ve ever had to endure.”

Musically, the past few years saw Hiatus Kaiyote gain more support than ever, being sampled by some of the biggest artists in the world – Drake, Beyoncé and Chance The Rapper just to name a few.

The tour comes as the band continues to work on the follow up to 2015’s Choose Your Weapon, and will be touring more across the globe in 2020.
