The Hills Are Alive 2016 Lineup Announced

The eighth annual The Hills Are Alive festival has made its first major lineup announcement, naming acts like Adelaide rockers Bad//Dreems, Sydney-based singer Ngaiire and Perth indie-rockers Tired Lion for its 2016 Easter weekend shenanigans.

Other acts announced on The Hills Are Alive’s 2016 lineup include Brissie’s The Belligerents, Central Coast singer-songwriter E^ST and DJ/producer KLP. Catch all 19 of the rising Aussie acts on the festival’s lineup, below.

The Hills Are Alive 2016 is set to go down on the rolling hills of Victoria’s South Gippsland over three days and two nights from the 25th to 27th March. The BYO camping festival will once again be invite-only in 2016, with punters needing to be invited to attend by someone who has attended the event before, or by one of the artists.

This year’s the Hills Are Alive festival featured acts like Remi, Canberra electronica outfit SAFIA, Pierce Brothers and Tassie singer-songwriter Asta.

UPDATE 09/02/16: Even more artists have joined the festival’s 2016 lineup, as organisers announce the first ever public ticket release for the once invite only festival. See the updated list below.
