UPDATE 19/12/16: Hudmo has announced he won’t be heading Down Under for his festival or headline performances, citing health concerns.
Glaswegian studio-dweller Hudson Mohawke will be making the most of his upcoming trip to Australia. As well as performing a run of festival slots, the dude will also be hitting the clubs, today announcing headline shows in both Sydney and Brisbane to compliment his other performances.
You’d struggle to compile an argument as to why HudMo isn’t one of the biggest producers in the game right now. The wunderkind has pressed flesh with the likes of Kanye West, Future, Lil Wayne, Pusha-T, Drake and just about anyone else worth pressing flesh with in that world.
The latest HudMo release was 2015 album Lantern, although he’s since usurped the output by working with label mate Oneohtrix Point Never to produce Anohni’s debut offering, and also put his fingerprints all over the official soundtrack for video game sequel Watch Dogs 2.
Between Lost Paradise, Beyond The Valley and Southbound Festival festival, the dude’s got a pretty full schedule.
