Just days before his scheduled arrival down under, EDM wunderkind Hudson Mohawke has announced that he will no longer be partaking in any of his Australian festival shows or sideshows, citing health concerns.
A statement posted to HudMo’s Facebook reads, “Regrettably, Hudson Mohawke has been forced to cancel his upcoming festival & headline shows in Australia, New Zealand & Asia due to a health issue. Ticket holders for solo shows will be refunded from their original point of purchase.”
HudMo was locked in to perform at Beyond The Valley, Lost Paradise and Southbound Festival, as well as a run of headline dates throughout on the east coast. This would have been his second trip down under since the start of 2016, when he was a main attraction at Laneway Festival.
Currently displaying tracks from his genre-bending album Lanterns, HudMo was also the mastermind behind the latest Watch Dogs 2 Original Game Soundtrack. The dude cleaned up during the Grammy noms, scoring tips of the hat for his work with Kanye West on The Life Of Pablo, so anticipation to see him life was at fever pitch.
