Ian Astbury From The Cult Marries Black Ryder’s Aimee Nash

Australian singer Aimee Nash married The Cult frontman, Ian Astbury, on the weekend in Las Vegas. The couple tied the knot just before The Cult’s gig in Vegas at the M Resort on Saturday night. Nash formally sang as a back-up singer with The Morning After Girls before splitting from the group and forming the Black Ryder with fellow Morning After Girls’ member Scott Von Ryper (her former husband). Their debut album Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride was released on 6 November 2009 and featured guest appearances from members of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Nash and Astbury first met when the Black Ryder supported The Cult on their 2010 Australian tour.

The Cult have just released their 9th studio album Choice of Weapon.
