Ice Cube has added two more shows to his rapidly selling out Australian tour. The West Coast rapper will now play Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday, 3rd December and 170 Russell in Melbourne on Sunday, 7th December.
Ice Cube’s newly announced 170 Russell gig is now the third Melbourne date for the former N.W.A member, squeezed between two sold-out shows at Forum Theatre. Brisbane’s Eaton’s Hill performance and the original Enmore Theatre date, on Thursday, 11th December, have also sold out.
Ice Cube is touring ahead of the release of his 10th studio album, Everythang’s Corrupt, due out next year. For N.W.A fans out there, Ice Cube has given hope to a possible new album. Currently working with Dr Dre on upcoming N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, Cube said the project might inspire a new N.W.A record.
“I’d say don’t rule anything out. It could happen. Hopefully doing this record project will inspire Dre to make more records again,” said Ice Cube.
