Iggy Azalea Reckon’s Beyonce’s Lemonade Lyric Stereotypes White Women

Since the release of Beyoncé‘s album Lemonade, just days ago – the general consensus of the public is that it’s an absolute masterpiece, and possibly her best work to date.

Iggy Azalea does appear to have one slight issue though, with Bey’s use of the ‘Becky’ as a generic description for a white woman, as in “Becky with the good hair” in the track Sorry.

Although she went on to make it clear that her beef is not with Beyoncé, but with the general use of the term, she was still encouraged to delete her tweets.

Never one to back down without a fight, Iggy responded; “I don’t care Dont call all asian women “ming lee” dont call white women “becky” dont call black women “sha nay nay”. Yeah, best leave this particular argument be, Iggy.
