The Central Coast’s Sweaty Palms festival has just dropped a moist lineup for 2017 that’s bound to get your palms sweaty, knees weak and arms heavy.
Aussie hip-hop extraordinaire Illy will be making sure there’s vomit on your sweater already at the top of the independent music and arts festival’s latest bill.
He’ll be joined by an eclectic mix of Aussie and international talent including Byron Bay slack-rockers Skegss, psych-reggae outfit Ocean Alley, electro-RnB bouncers Cosmo’s Midnight, Chicago brat-rockers The Orwells, Citizen Kay and many more more surf, psych, rap and punk acts across multiple outdoor stages.
Organiser Steve Sewell of Kingdom Sounds says, “Sweaty Palms is a representation of local underground culture, it’s about bringing together local makers, creators, riders and a community of like-minded individuals through a love of music.”
This year’s instalment will bring the palm tree jungle, art installations and good vibrations to new venue Proud Mary’s, Erina on Saturday, 30th September so pencil it in because last year’s debut event was a damn sell-out.
