In Wholesome News, André 3000 Is Still Playing The Flute & Serenading People Across The US

For a little over a month now, a man who has appeared to be Outkast co-founder André 3000 has been spotted around the US playing the flute in public places.

He was first spotted in mid-June by US producer, Antonia Cereijido. She posted a tweet saying “I saw a man walking around my terminal playing a flute for 40min and was losing my mind because I thought it was André 3000.”

And she was right! It was André 3000. Playing what he calls a “double flute”.

Since that moment, he’s been spotted all around the US serenading passers-by with his double flute.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, he’s been spotted around Philadelphia “at least a dozen times” in spots like Whole Foods and a craft store.

One Philadelphia resident, Russ Jackson, saw André 3000 sitting on the steps of a church and had to do a double take.

“When I walked past him the first time, I didn’t approach him,” he said. “I just saw a guy, but he kind of fit the mold of André 3000. As I was walking, it started to click that it was probably him.”

Jackson also said that he asked him about the flute, saying “he told me that he picked it up a couple of years ago and that he’s trying to get really good at it.”

Residents of New York City and Los Angeles have reportedly also heard and seen the mysterious flute-playing André 3000.
