The first Sounds On Sunset festival has been announced, taking place in Pacific Palms on New South Wales’ mid-North Coast on Saturday, 18th May. It comes to us from the same folks who put on Festival Of The Sun, and boasts a laid-back attitude, a BYO policy and $25 tickets which include overnight camping. Wowzers!
The festival has a stellar musical lineup of local and visiting blues, roots, rock and acoustic artists, including Snowdroppers, Galleri, Mar Haze, Jimmy Bazil Project, Royal Chant, The Whores for Pinot and James Bennett. Sounds On Sunset will also feature food stalls, an art and craft fair and a music conference, making it a nice little weekend getaway.
Sounds On Sunset is being held at Sundowner Tiona Tourist Park and Conference Centre, 2 hours north of Newcastle and 1.5 hours south of Port Macquarie and set amongst the backdrop of stunning Wallis Lake. Children under 12 are free and additional camping nights can be booked for a small fee. If camping’s not your bag, the venue also has a range of budget and luxury accommodation options available.
Tickets are on sale now through Oztix.
