Isol-Aid, the group that brought us stellar virtual music festivals each week of lockdown, have now announced Homegrown. Homegrown is a new program, designed to offer creative and financial support to artists.
The program is a collaboration between Isol-Aid and 99designs by Vistaprint. Created for Australian and New Zealand artists, Homegrown will see 25 artists or groups selected to perform, alongside some other perks.
Homegrown will be a 16-week livestream series on TikTok. Emerging Aussie and NZ artists will perform alongside established artists.
The 25 nominated artists will receive $2k worth of custom design work for album art, gig posters, merch and more.
One blessed act will also receive a $10k grant to put towards growing their career AND they’ll receive one-on-one mentoring from Killing Heidi’s Ella Hooper.
“This next chapter of Isol-Aid is particularly exciting. It’s wonderful to be able to continue delivering incredible live local (Aus and NZ) talent to audiences on TikTok, regardless of their location or lockdown,” says Isol-Aid Founder, Emily Ulman.
“And it’s extra amazing to now be able to offer Homegrown musicians the opportunity to collaborate with incredible designers who can make their artistic visions for merch, tour posters, album art etc become a reality; to literally grow.”
Nominations for Isol-Aid’s Homegrown are open now. Head here to nominate.
