If you got hooked on Jake Bugg when he brought his super smooth and yet eternally dirty rock ‘n’ roll our way back in July for Splendour In The Grass, we got some good news for you – the British boy wonder is returning to our shores for Bluesfest 2014, and now he’s doing his own headline shows as well..
Bugg has confirmed live dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane next April off the back of his sophomore full length release, Shangri La, the highly anticipated follow-up to his debut self-titled record. He’ll be joined by Brisbane DIY duo The Creases and a very special acoustic set from Fremantle’s psychedelic sweethearts The Growl.
Tickets go on sale from 9:00am AEDT on Friday, 29th November, but if you want to get access to an exclusive presale, wander on over to Secret Sounds and sign up for their newsletter before Thursday, 28th November.
UPDATE 03/02/14: Following the recent early sell out of Bugg’s Palace Theatre show in Melbourne, a second night has been added to the tour. Jake Bugg will perform an additional show at the Palace on Wednesday 16th April.
Tickets for this new show will be on sale Wednesday 5th February at 10am.
