Lana Del Rey‘s shows aren’t notorious for being rough at all, so it’s hard to imagine a scenario in which actor James Franco headbutted someone at her show, but it did reportedly happened.
Photographer David Tonnessen is suing Franco for allegedly headbutting him in the stomach while he was taking pictures of Del Rey at a concert at Hollywood Forever Cemetery back in 2014.
As TMZ reports, Tonnessen says Franco was “smiling, rather demonically” and had a “blank expression of joy on his face”. Franco then allegedly headbutted him, with Tonnessen further claiming he was hospitalised, suffering “permanent injuries”.
Franco is yet to publicly respond to the claims, but there was a point when he was pretty infatuated with Del Rey. Last year he revealed that he’d written a book about her, however it’s never surfaced, and Del Rey doesn’t think it ever will.
Franco has also written a poem for Del Rey in V Magazine, in which he called her “weird” and a “friend”.
