30 Seconds To Mars frontman and Suicide Squad star Jared Leto has used an appearance on The Tonight Show to cuddle a bunch of puppers and scare host Jimmy Fallon with a live snake.
During his time on The Tonight Show, Leto was bathed in some super-adorable goldren retriever puppies (which he proceeded to talk to as if they were babies) during a game of ‘Pup Quiz’ with Fallon, and while Leto (WARNING: ‘Pup Quiz’ Spoilers) ended up losing the game, he definitely won some cute points.
Speaking to Fallon without any pupper pals by his side, Leto, who plays the ever-so-evil character of The Joker in Suicide Squad, then managed to escalate things by giving Fallon a special “gift from The Joker”. It turned out to be an actual snake, which was briefly used to scare the hell out of Fallon, who was pretty lucky that he didn’t receive any anal beads or used condoms this time around.
Leto’s appearance on The Tonight Show (below) also saw him tell Fallon that he thinks The Joker is really just a misunderstood nice-guy.
“I fell in love with The Joker,” Leto says. “I really think underneath it all he’s kind of a sweetheart.”
Watch Leto cuddle puppies and cause snake-related havoc on The Tonight Show, below. Suicide Squad will be released in Australia on Thursday, 4th August.
Outside of the Joker world, 30 Seconds To Mars are set to make a return to our earholes soon, with a new album expected in 2017.
