JAY-Z Has Confirmed That A Joint Album With Beyoncé Exists

JAY-Z has given truth to the rumours that he’s made a joint album with Beyoncé.

There have been rumours for years that the pair were working on a collaborative record, even after Beyoncé released her JAY-condemning record Lemonade. Now, it turns out they were making a joint album around the time Lemonade was being made.

He was talking to T Magazine about whether or not he and his wife discussed putting out personal records like Lemonade and 4:44.

“It didn’t happen that way…. We were using our art almost like a therapy session. And we started making music together,” he said.

“And then the music she was making at that time was further along. So her album came out as opposed to the joint album that we were working on.”

He added, “Um, we still have a lot of that music. And this is what it became. There was never a point where it was like, ‘I’m making this album.’ I was right there the entire time.”

JAY offered no answer as to whether the album will ever see the light of day but we can only hope. Yesterday, his record 4:44 was nominated for eight Grammy Awards including Album Of The Year. Last year, Bey earned nine nominations. It’s safe to say a collab album would scoop the pool.
