As his anticipated run of Australian stages edges closer, South African troubadour Jeremy Loops has announced the local acts that will be joining him on the run.
As he presents his latest album Critical As Water to his adoring Australian followers, Loops will be joined by Melbourne trio Woodlock and rising storyteller Ruby Gill.
Woodlock have been making waves on the local scene for some years now, sustaining a healthy release and tour balance. Currently, the three-piece is shacked up in a studio piecing together their next body of work. Previous releases from the band have made their way into the point end of various charts so probability would state we can expect more with the upcoming jams.
Relocating from her native South Africa to Melbourne to further her creative career, Ruby Gill clearly isn’t here to mess around. Releasing her debut album Older in 2016, Ruby has already enchanted many an audience since relocating here. That said, there’s plenty more crowds left to win over and Ruby doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
Loops blew minds with the release of his Critical As Water. This was the obvious outcome considering he surrounding himself with great people for the release including acclaimed producer Will Hicks (Ed Sheeran, Bastille, Lily Allen) and Jake Gosling (James Bay, The Libertines, Shawn Mendes). Since dropping the album, Loops has gone on to sell more than 30,000 tickets to his worldwide tour.
