British pop singer Jessie J has cancelled all three remaining dates of her March Australian tour. After performing in Brisbane and Sydney over the weekend, Jessie J has pulled out of shows in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth due to illness.
In a statement, Jessie J has apologised to fans. “Due to sudden illness I have unfortunately been medically advised to cancel my three remaining shows in Australia, so I can give myself time to rest and get better,” she says.
“I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause my fans in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. If I could magic myself better and be there I would. I can’t wait to perform for you all in the future. Thank you for your support. Jessica x”
Jessie J’s 2015 Aussie tour was in support of her third album, Sweet Talker, which included the Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj-featuring hit, Bang Bang. Jessie J was supported by Tim Omaji, aka Timomatic, at her Brisbane and Sydney shows.
Existing Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth ticket holders can obtain refunds by contacting the point of sale by the close of business on Tuesday, 7th April. There’s no official word as to whether or not the cancelled dates will be rescheduled in the near future.
