Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson Announces Bluesfest 2017 Sideshows

The voice and the flute of Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson, has announced he will be sidetracking from his previously announced Bluesfest 2017 commitments to undertake a series of headline shows, bringing the legendary hits he fronted in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.

Conceived at the dawn of the 70s, Jethro Tull rose at a similar time to Led Zeppelin, Elton John and The Rolling Stones, making them one of the few bands who managed to steal thunder from most of the greats of rock and revolutionise the concept album with Aqualung and Thick As A Brick.

Anderson has weathered numerous lineup changes, fronting a variety of musicians who came and went. During, the band managed to release 30 albums, selling 60 million over 50 years.
